Energy for Australians is a not-for-profit, independent community organisation dedicated to promoting energy independence through a balanced mix of coal, gas, nuclear, and renewable technologies. Our mission is to reduce energy costs for businesses and households while ensuring a sustainable and secure energy future for all Australians.
We are committed to putting Australians first by advocating for a cheap, reliable, and common-sense energy mix. We do not align with any political party, and we remain truly independent.
Energy for Australians is committed to transparency, accountability, and enabling greater democratic participation through donations from everyday Australians.
However, there are certain individuals (such as non-Australian citizens) and businesses from whom we do not accept donations. This commitment aligns with our principles, mission, core values, and compliance with electoral laws across the country.
By donating to Energy for Australians, donors confirm that:
As a registered Significant Third Party, Energy for Australians is obliged under the Commonwealth Electoral Act to disclose to the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) cumulative donations of $16,900 or more in the 2024-25 financial year. The AEC will publish these reports on its website.
Donors who make a contribution to or for the benefit of a federal election candidate or registered political party in an amount of $1,000 or more in aggregate are required to disclose this to the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC).
This disclosure is made by Energy for Australians and must include the name and address of the donor. Donors who are companies or trusts must provide details of the financial officer or trustee(s) as applicable.
